The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) has warned against committing malicious actions through the payment of foreign electronic assets. This is a classic phishing attack that is used by the public to be known to the public, so that it can be used as a source of information.
The release of the malicious emails started on August 12. It communicates "for several cases" on such electronic messages.
The emails are sent apparently by the address, which is visualized as the Bank's manager. In the message, we are informed that they have received a currency transfer and must follow the instructions in the attached link to the message.
However, the BNB does not have registered email hosts in domains such as bnb.bg and does not send to the citizens messages with similar content. For comparison, the e-mail for the correspondence with the public relations department is Рrеѕѕ_оffісе@bnbаnk.org. All of them remained of the same type, ending with "@bankbank".
"That type message sare well skilled charter phishing attack and are threat to consumers."
If a person has received a similar e-mail, he does not need to download the files attached to it or click on the attached links. If you do, there is a high probability that you will fall victim to computer fraud.
